Chad joined Elder’s in April of 2005 and has been our Walden Store Manager since October 2016. He has worked at our Brainerd, Redbank and Walden stores. His favorite departments are the paint department and the grilling department. He enjoys mixing different paint colors and talking to customers about their projects. He also loves talking to people about grilling, sharing what works for him and hearing what works best for them. Chad first met Elder at our East Ridge store when he was just a kid. After talking with him, Chad told Elder that he was going to work for him one day. Elder’s advice was if you set your mind to doing something, you will achieve your goal. When asked what he enjoys most about working at Elder’s, Chad said “Helping people with their projects and teaching them how to make home repairs”. On his days off, Chad enjoys travelling, going to concerts, grilling on his Big Green Egg, spending time with his wife, playing with his dogs and watching Netflix. Chad is a Chattanooga native. He is a graduate of East Ridge High School and Penn Foster college.
