Sam joined Elder’s in February of 2016 and has been our Murfreesboro Store Manager since October of 2022.He has worked at our Dixie Lee, Hardin Valley, North Broadway, South Knoxville, Townsend and East Nashville stores. His favorite department is the grilling department because he says there is so much that goes into grilling and everyone has their own take on things. Sam says talking with customers and learning new techniques is always fun and the information is endless! When asked what he enjoys most about working at Elder’s, Sam said “My favorite thing about working at Elder’s is being able to come to a job I love. No two days are the same, helping customers with projects or finding a solution to their problem. Elder’s has a great set of values for the way they operate, making them one of the best companies I have ever been a part of.” On his days off, Sam enjoys playing hockey and golf, taking his jeep out, hanging out with his blue tick hound, and cooking something on the grill. Fun fact about Sam- in 2013, he was ranked 3rd in the nation as a collegiate mascot (Go Vols!).
