Phil joined Elder’s in December of 1997 and has been our Ringgold Store Manager since the store opened in October of 2008. Phil has worked at our Highway 58, Ooltewah, East Brainerd, Lafayette and Ringgold stores. He enjoys helping his customers with paint projects and planting projects. He fondly remembers Elder telling him a story about how a tractor was once stolen and advising him to keep his tractor inside at night. Phil has never left his tractor outside ever since. When asked what he enjoys most about working at Elder’s, Phil said “I enjoy the relationships with the people, both the customers and the team members.” On his off days, Phil spends his time reading, hiking with his dogs and spending time with his granddaughter Rebeca! Phil has been married to his best friend, Connie, for almost 40 years. And Phil isn’t the only member of his family that works at Elder’s Ace. In fact, at one time all four members of his family worked at Elder’s. Currently his daughter, Emily, works as our Events and Promotions Coordinator and his son, Aaron, is the Manager at our Chickamauga store.
