Harold joined Elder’s in September of 2003 and has been our East Brainerd Store Manager since February of 2007. The grilling department is Harold’s favorite because he has a passion for grilling and teaching others how to grill. You can follow his grilling adventures on Facebook and Instagram @noogagrilling. He fondly remembers Elder often talking about how he felt no one could truly compete with Elder’s Ace. When asked what he enjoys most about working at Elder’s, Harold said “The people. I honestly feel like my co-workers and my customers are like family. Over the years I have developed some very strong friendships with many of my customers, and those relationships make every day fun.” On his days off, Harold enjoys cooking and working in his yard. He also enjoys his annual beach vacations with his wife, Joy. Harold previously served in the Tennessee Legislature and authored the original conceal carry weapon legislation in the state.
