We are excited to have Myron Mixon join us again this year to host our cooking classes! As a five-time world barbecue champion, Myron Mixon is the winningest man in barbecue. He’s the chief cook of the Jack’s Old South Competition Bar-B-Que Team; the Mayor of Unadilla, GA; and Chef/Partner in Myron Mixon’s Pitmaster BBQ in Old Town, Alexander, VA and Hoboken, NJ. You’ve watched Myron on TV as he is the Executive Producer and host of “BBQ Rules”; host of “Smoked”; and star of two other hit shows “BBQ Pitmasters” and “BBQ Pitwars” on Discovery’s Destination America and Myron Mixon Cooking Channel.

‍For an EggFest to be successful, we need cooks! Scenic City EggFest is a fun opportunity for you and a friend to showcase your talents on the Big Green Egg. Cook teams will serve samples from 10 am – 3 pm.

What We Supply

We supply up to 2 Big Green Eggs, along with lump charcoal, fire starter, convEGGtor, 6ft folding tables, table cloths, two folding chairs, paper towels, hand sanitizer, disposable cutting boards, napkins, forks, toothpicks, paper food trays, and team name/city sign.

What Cook Teams Should Supply

You supply the cook team, all food and ingredients, and your grilling expertise as you prepare and serve your favorite recipes. Please bring any other items you may need to cook, such as grilling utensils, knives, extra chairs, canopy tent, etc.

People’s Choice Award Competition

Teams will have the opportunity to compete in the People’s Choice Award Competition for some great prizes! At registration, please select the division your team would like to enter – Pro or Backyard. Attendees will be given a ticket to vote in both divisions.

Voting will be from 10:00am-2:00pm. The winners to be announced at 2:30pm.

Demo Eggs

Demo Eggs are on sale NOW!
The brand new eggs will be used during Scenic City EggFest by one of our registered cooking teams. Customers may then pick up their pre-paid Eggs after the EggFest from 4-6pm on October 28th. Tickets included with demo egg package purchase will be emailed to the email provided the week of the event.

Each Demo Egg package includes a Big Green Egg, intEGGrated Nest+Handler, Nest Utility Rack, LG 5 pc. EGGspander, 2 Half-Moon Stones, Grid Gripper, Ash Tool, Fire Starters and a Bag of Charcoal as well as Two Scenic City EggFest tickets. Ace coupons may not be used on Demo Egg packages.

All Demo Egg packages must be picked up at The Commons in Collegedale, TN following the Scenic City EggFest event on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 from 4-6pm. Keep in mind that Eggs have been cooked on all day and need time to cool.
